7 Days – Classic Morocco Tour from Tangier

Day 1 – Tangier – Fes

We will pick you up at your Riad/Hotel in Tangier at 8:00 a.m. and we will drive to Fez.

Day 2 – Fes

We will start exploring the city at Bab Boujeloud, the famous Blue Gate that will take us to Talaa Kebeera. You will be able to visit the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum, the Neijarine Fountains and the famous tanneries among many other things.

After lunch we will walk through the Mellah and have the opportunity to visit one of the few active synagogues in Morocco. We can also visit the Jnan Sbil Garden and our last visit of the afternoon will be to the ceramic factory where you will have an unbeatable view of the Medina of Fez. At night you can choose between a quiet dinner in your Riad / Hotel or go see an entertainment show of Belly Dancers.

Day 3 – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Merzouga


We will pick you up at your Riad/Hotel at 8:00 a.m. and we will head south crossing the Middle Atlas until we reach Ifrane. They will have time to take pictures and explore the city for a while. Once they are ready we will continue to the Cedros Forest where they will be able to interact with the friendly monkeys of the place. Then we will go to Midelt to have lunch and rest for a while.

After lunch we will cross the Ziz Valley and its immense palm grove. From here you will begin to feel the atmosphere of the desert since the landscapes begin to change when we enter Errachidia. In Merzouga the camel driver will be waiting for you to start the dromedary ride. They will cross the Sahara to watch the sunset on top of a dune and then they will go to their camp in the middle of the desert.

After dinner you can enjoy an authentic Berber show with drums and nostalgic songs around a campfire.

Day 4 – Rissani – Todra – Dades Gorges

On this day we invite you to wake up early and walk to the highest dune around the camp. There you will be able to see how the sun slowly appears between two huge mountains.

After breakfast we will return to our 4X4 and we will go to Rissani. If it is Tuesday, Thursday or Sunday, you will have the opportunity to walk around the huge market for a while. Then we will go to Erfoud where if you wish we will visit a fossilized marble factory. We will continue our way through the palm grove of Touroug until we reach the Todra Gorges – a spectacular canyon that is quite popular with rock climbers. We will have lunch here and you will have time to explore the place.

Day 5 – Ouarzazate – Ait-Ben-Haddou – Marrakech

After breakfast we will take you to a viewpoint where you can see the entire Dades Valley. We will take the “Road of the Thousand Kasbahs.” We will make several stops to appreciate the beautiful landscapes and the Valley of the Roses. Then we will stop in Ouarzazate and visit the Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas Studios. We will continue until we reach the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ait-Ben-Haddou. We will explore this fortified city and afterwards you will have free time to rest and have lunch.

After lunch we will start our way to Marrakech crossing the High Atlas and the imposing Tizi n’Tichka. We will arrive in Marrakech at approximately 6:00 p.m. Dinner and rest at your Riad/Hotel.

Day 6 – Marrakech – Casablanca

After breakfast we will pick you up and head to the economic capital of Morocco, Casablanca. Once there you will have time to relax and visit the famous Hassan II Mosque. Dinner and rest at your Riad/Hotel.

Day 7 – Casablanca – Tangier

We will pick you up at your Riad/Hotel and drive back to Tangier. We say goodbye once we have dropped you back at your accommodation, airport or ferry.

It includes

  • Transfers to the airport in and out.
  • Accommodations in half board (dinner and breakfast) except in Marrakech (breakfast only).
  • 1 Night in haimas (Berber camp) in the middle of the desert, half board
