Day 1 – Pick up in Tangier – Chefchaouen

Reception by our guide at the estimated time in the port or airport of Tangier and we begin our route to Chefchaouen or Chaouen as many call it, located in the only intercontinental natural park declared a natural biosphere reserve. It is a town hanging on the mountain painted in white and blue, populated by wise, kind and respectful people, and that offers the visitor beautiful urban landscapes, precious samples of local crafts, and a peace and serenity that today is difficult to find. . Day 2 – Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Moulay Idriss – Fez

We leave the rich world of Chefchaouen and head towards Fez, the first of the imperial cities that is proud to house one of the oldest universities in the world. On the way we will visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, very well preserved. We will also be able to see a panoramic view of Moulay Idriss, the holy city and in the afternoon we will arrive in Fez to enjoy the sunset while we visit the walls and gates of its medina or simply have a welcome tea from the terrace of the Riad. Day 3 – Visit of Fez – Cedar Forest – Midelt – Merzouga Dunes

After a rich breakfast at the Riad, we begin our guided tour of the medina, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its labyrinthine streets structured by guilds of potters, dyers,… etc., the bustle of its people will transport you centuries ago. We will notice that it is a medieval city and that time has stopped on the clock “la Magana Bounania”… 1200 years after its construction. Wonderful! Not far from Fez we will cross through Ifrane, “The Switzerland of Morocco”, before reaching the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas. It’s time for the Atlas. A surprising change of landscape awaits us, we quickly enter the Great South. The land becomes arid, with spectacular geological formations and deep valleys, such as the Ziz Valley, huge green patches in the middle of the desert. We will begin to observe mud architecture, palm trees, some distant kasbahs… we are at the gates of the desert. Arriving at the impressive dunes of Merzouga ” we will ride a camel to enter the heart of the dunes and contemplate an unforgettable sunset. We will arrive with the dromedaries to the camp where we will stay in Haimas. Dinner and night in the heart of the desert under a spectacular blanket of stars.

Day 4 – Merzouga Desert – Rissani Market – Todra Gorges – Dadés Valley

After a delicious breakfast, we have to say goodbye to the desert and we will leave for Rissani where we will visit its market. We will follow the path towards the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad. Later we will arrive at one of the strongest points in the south: The Todra Gorges. The Todra riverbed has formed a gorge of vertical walls of enormous proportions and great beauty, it is a paradise for climbers and a unique place. Lunch at the site and a walk of half an hour would be recommended to see and enjoy the Gorges in detail. In the afternoon we will continue to the Dadès Valley, also known as the Valley of Figs. Passing through Boumalne Dadés we will stop at the “monkey legs”. Dinner and night in the Dades Gorges.

Day 5 – Dadés Valley – Valley of Roses – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, we can enjoy one of the best views of the Dadés Valley. We will do it from one of the most strategic places that the mountains offer us. From there we will be able to observe the number of kasbahs that there are and how picturesque each one of them is. After several stops to enjoy the route, the Valley of the Roses and the great palm grove of Skoura, we will arrive at the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, where such famous films as Gladiator, Sahara or the Jewel of the Nile. After the visit we will leave for Marrakech crossing the Tizi’N Tichka mountain pass with stops to take photos. Here we will leave behind the lunar landscape that will give way to the predominant colors of green, ocher…etc. Arrival in Marrakesh. Transfer to the agreed point.
